This Module provides Layer-3 IP packet switching for ODM Product and works in conjunction with other application packs such as Ethernet and VDSL services.
Also, this module stores the configuration information in its memory devices for the APs and accesses those packs to change configurations and upgrade software.
For IP service applications this module has an onboard processor and 2-switch fabric which have a bandwidth to 12.8Gbps and enables packet forwarding rates up to 9.6Mpps for each switch.
This module also provides external two 1000Base-SX/LX/ZX uplink interfaces via GBIC(Gigabit Interface Converter) module and two 10/100Base-Tx uplink interfaces.
